Truck

This is a really amazing little truck named sakura, like the truks in Black Rain, the movie of Ridley Scott. Please note the four chicken on the dashboard.

Under a cherry tree



It was March but in Kitakata there was still signs of winter, snow in the shadow, and this big cherry tree was still waiting warmer sun rays to blossom over the tiny jinja in the middle of rice fields. All photo taken with 85 mm. and Polirizer filter, at ƒ 1,4.

Red lanterns



I love this little temple, Sugawara jinja, in Kitakata, every time I go to the town, I walk there and take pictures, many times the same, but I love it. This was my first time in Spring and I felt different, with a little of snow around. As usual, Nikon 85 mm. lens fully open at 1,4 ƒ.

Jizō


At Teramachi jinja cemetery there are many statue with young boy wearing red hat, is the traditional symbol of Jizō Bosatsu, a beloved Japanese divinity, protector of children and travellers.
Both photos were shoot with Nikon 85 mm. at ƒ1,4 in natural light (shadow).

Sake factory Yamatogawa

A boy walking by the Yamatogawa sake factory in Kitakata, Japan in March 2015. Photo taken with Nikon 85 mm at ƒ1,4, it was a bright sunny morning, so 1/2000 of a second shutter speed, to achieve the bokeh effect.

Chef Okuda Masayuki and sake


 This sake from Tsuruoka region is Happo Seishu Shupponshu, is lightly sparkling and lightly sweet.

 Shoujin ryouri: six small dishes in Yamabushi spirit.

 Sake Junmai Daiginjo Hakurosuishu Dewa 33 matched with the risotto.

 Risotto (italian style rice) with dadachamame (edamame or soy beans) and prawns.


 Salmon lightly cooked at 40° (centigrade) courgettes, edamame, served with cooked fishbone.

Sake Tokubetsu Junmaishu Tomizu matched with the dessert.
Chef Okuda Masayuki of restaurant "All-ché-cciano", in Tsuruoka City, Yamagata Prefecture.
The Japanese Yamagata Prefecture presented in Milano, in occasion of the Expo, some of their culinary products. Chef Okuda Masayuki in his recipes use traditional food of this rich of quality ingredients region, for Italian style cusine and create very interesting recipes and very tasty dishes.
